I am a proud mother of one adorable son (Grade 4) and a devoted aunt to my wonderful niece (Grade 5) and nephew (Grade 1). I loved my career as a Software Developer for over a decade but my ultimate goal was always to be a stay-at-home mom so that I could be involved in my son's educational experience as much as possible. My mother set a great example for me growing up by being super active in the PTA and attending or leading all my school events and I couldn't wait to follow in her footsteps. It means even more to me being a part of the Elwood community as I attended Harley, Boyd, EMS and graduated from John Glenn HS. It's a huge honor to be back walking the halls as a parent/aunt this time around! Being a part of the PTA has allowed me to get to know so many students, faculty and parents over the years and I love being a familiar face to students at all the school events. I am so excited to be part of the Boyd PTA board to enhance the educational experience for all of our current and future students.Co-President
Hi, I'm Kate! I'm a work-from-home professional in the salon industry and a licensed real estate agent, but my favorite role is being a mom! My daughter is a rising 3rd grader and my son will be starting 1st grade in the fall. My husband and I were excited to return to the Elwood community a few years ago to raise our family. As a proud Elwood alumna and Elwood Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, I feel incredibly fortunate to stay connected to a school district that has played such an important role in my life. It's a privilege to now give back and help create the same positive experiences for today's students and families! I joined the PTA because I believe every child deserves a positive, welcoming school experience where they can learn, grow, and thrive. I enjoy bringing people together, organizing events, and finding meaningful ways to support our students, families, and staff. I'm excited to work alongside fellow parents and educators to help create a school year where every child feels supported, included, and encouraged to shine.Vice President
My name is Jennifer; this is my first year on the Boyd PTA. I am a stay-at-home mom to my two girls Harper (10) and Scarlett (8). Since Harper started kindergarten, I have wanted to become more involved as I missed having a work drive as I used to be the Director of after sales service for Tiffany & Co. I feel as my girls are getting older being a part of these special grade level years is so important to me. I am hoping to provide a fresh input to ensure all our children have an amazing school year, filled with growth and special memories.Co-Vice President
My name is Ali Leite and I'm a mom to two amazing girls, ages 5 and 8. When I'm not cheering them on or keeping up with family life, you'll find me teaching third grade—a job I truly love. Being both a parent and an educator has shown me the value of a strong partnership between families and schools. I'm excited to work alongside other parents, teachers, and staff to build a supportive, welcoming school community.Treasurer

I’m a proud parent of Sophia in 6th grade, and Emery in 3rd grade. I'm excited to be involved with the PTA and help support our students, teachers, and school community. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, and volunteering whenever I can. I'm looking forward to meeting new families, working together on fun events, and making this a great school year.Delegate
Above all, I am a mom who loves being involved in our school community and helping make childhood joyful and memorable. I believe children only get one childhood, and I am passionate about creating meaningful experiences, supporting our teachers and staff, and helping build a welcoming community for all families. For me, being involved has never simply been about volunteering. It is about helping create the kind of childhood and school experience that our children will someday look back on and remember with a smile. It has been an honor serving our school community this past year, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving as a delegate. I look forward to making more memories, supporting our families, and helping make this year special for our children.
